Jamie is an artist moving between the corporeal and the spiritual, creating spaces where interference, exchange, and connection give rise to new modes of storytelling. Drawing from an archive of cultural anomalies, poetry, vintage photography, ancestral memory, speculative architecture and a love of sci-fi, her practice weaves lived experience and dream-state logic into alternate realities in various mediums.
At times collaborative and at others introspective, her work navigates the dissection of cultural identity (Palestinian/Filipino) and the entanglement between spirit, love and hatred in an ongoing dialogue with the audience through spatial installation and alternative mediums. Her practice remains intentionally liquid—shifting between drawing, photography, sculpture, and sound—allowing each medium to expand, fracture, and reconfigure through process-driven inquiry.
Jamie has exhibited throughout Sydney, Lisbon, Melbourne, Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock, and Wollongong. She completed a six-week residency in Lisbon, Portugal (2016), holds a BFA (Honours) from the National Art School (2015) and a BIA from UNSW (2012), and co-directed Gallery ES74 between 2015 and 2017.
